HONGKONG- Stewart Li(李国华) has been appointed managing director of Carat Hong Kong and South China. He will be based in Hong Kong and report to the media agency's China and Hong Kong CEO, Thomas Wong.

Wong said Li's responsibilities will be to grow the business in Hong Kong and the dynamic South China market, as well as to spearhead an internal change in operations.

Prior to his Carat role, Li, who has over 16 years' experiences working for media vendors, creative as well as media agencies, has been general manager at TBWA Hong Kong since 2000. Prior to that, Li was vice-president at McCann-Erickson China.

Between 1991 and 1997, Li worked as associate media director at J.Walter Thompson Hong Kong and was then promoted to national media director at J.Walter Thompson China. Prior to that, he worked with Asia Television as sales and marketing supervisor from 1998 to 1991.
