Kimberly-Clark(金佰利), maker of the Huggies diaper and Kleenex brands, has named Tony Palmer as its first chief marketing officer. 

Australian-born Palmer, who will oversee a $450 million (€351m; £236m) global advertising budget, is currently managing director at Kellogg in the UK. 

His mission at Kimberly-Clark will be to develop a "global, enterprise-wide focus on marketing to accelerate the company's progress" and establish a "long-term marketing investment strategy to ensure that business initiatives are backed by compelling, high-return marketing programs". 

WPP Group's JWT handles advertising and sibling MindShare Worldwide handles media planning and buying for Kimberly-Clark globally.
