GLOBAL- Philips Electronics(飞利浦) is to review its estimated £100m-plus (US$187 million) global media planning and buying account, currently held by Aegis network Carat.

The advertiser is understood to be unhappy with the continuity of its global media message, and its lack of impact in some global markets.

Based in The Netherlands, the consumer electronics firm produces everything from the Cineos flat-screen HD-ready television to its iconic electric razors. It employs an estimated 125,500 employees in more than 60 countries worldwide.

The creative account, currently held by Omnicom's DDB network, is unaffected by the review of media.
