BEIJING- MPG(Media Planning Group,灵锐媒体),The Media unit of Paris-based Havas Group,the 6th largest global communications group, will launch its wholly-owned operations in emerging China market next spring.

As sources say, MPG will take back its entity-Motivator Media, a joint-venture which co-founded between MindShare and Euro RSCG in 1999. It was also mean that Motivator will roll into MPG.

Motivator, now under the GroupM umbrella, will split from the latter. It will deliver its media planning and buying services to its client. And its believed to be head by Paul McNeill, recently Motivator China GM.

In 2005, its biggest global client Intel jump into IPG’s McCann Worldgroup(Which including media unit Universal McCann) , which affected its China market even more.[cos. China is the chip maker’s biggest market]

Now Motivator’s client includes Volvo, Air Frence, Dell, Mary Kay, Evian, Ebay and so on.

Additional news:This tuesday, Havas also announced forming a media group called Havas Media, which includes MPG,Arena(specialized communications services); B6 (Integrated Entertainment); Havas Sports; and the Media Contacts (online and digital network.) Maria Luisa Francoli, previously chief executive at Havas’ Media Planning Network, takes over as CEO of MPG.

Compared with recent IPG’s disbanding its IPG Media, it seems more fucking funny. what happen in our industry, More fucking damn title , more fucking ego, more fucking authoritarianism, more fucking globalism……and so on
