BEIJING- Source believed that Jonathan Hsia(夏志义) has joined in Starcom IP as China General Manager, replacing Tim Haynes, who departed this May after one-year tenure.

When MadisonBoom called to Starcom last Thursday, one spokeman said, Hsia still not sign the final contract, and didn’t reveal more details.

Jonathan Hsia was most-recently Vice President- Digital Director of Starcom MediaVest Group in US.

In SMG US. Jon oversaw all brands within the Coca-Cola portfolio, including Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, VitaminWater, SmartWater, and others; He is responsible for defining and implementing communications strategy in all digital environments: online, mobile, video on demand, gaming, broadband, etc.

Prior to his position at SMG on Coca-Cola, Jon has held positions at JWT, Google, Mullen and Carat. His account experience ranges from technology to apparel, from telcom to luxury goods.
