SHANGHAI- Optimedia(突破传播) Shanghai has been appointed by Herbalife(康宝莱) China for its 2010 media account after a pitch which lasted three-plus months.

While TV still the dominant ad platform in China’s lower-tier markets, Optimedia said in a statement that its contract will mostly include TV air time to increase brand awareness, consumer loyalty and grow sales.

As monitors data show that, the advertiser previously majorly invested on print media to touch its target. So the totally transformation on media investment may more fit for the client, which aims to target large-scale ordinarily customers.

Herbalife is a global nutrition, weight-loss and skin-care company and founded in 1980, and entered into China market in 1997.
