Beijing – Kerry Kiyohara(kerry清原幸夫) has been appointed Vice President of the newly created Global Business Practice at Beijing Dentsu, advertising agency of Dentsu group, to fuel the next phase of growth. Kerry will report in to Gentaro Komiya, President, Beijing Dentsu.

Originally from Los Angeles, Kerry has lived and worked in Asia for the past two decades as a CEO, CMO, COO, client service director, and copywriter for agencies such as Ogilvy on global brands including IBM, Kodak, and American Express, as well as on the client side as founding partner of several startups.

His mission is to integrate Dentsu’s unique strengths in strategy, creative, and technology to create marketing solutions for global brands in China, as well as leverage the power of the Dentsu network on behalf of China brands in global markets.

Dentsu already works with many leading global brands from Japan and China. He and his new team have three key roles: (1) extend our China service offering to American, European, and other non-Asian brands; (2) leverage the power of Dentsu Global Network on behalf of China brands; (3) grow the next generation of Chinese leaders for Dentsu Group in China.

He expected to join multi-cultural background talents to his team to pump up creativities, idea generation and storytelling capability for next generation leaders in Beijing Dentsu.
