Hong Kong – Eric Phu (pictured) is set to leave his role of Greater China vice president after three years with Tribal DDB.

Phu will act as a consultant with Tribal DDB to ensure a smooth transition, while Rudi Leung, who was appointed as general manager of the agency in Hong Kong and Guangzhou and digital lead of DDB Hong Kong and Guangzhou last month, will take up part of Phu’s responsibility in the region.

Patrick Rona, president of Tribal DDB Asia Pacific and chief digital director of DDB Asia Pacific, said Phu has had a “life-long dream” to live and work in North America and he feels now is the time.

“During his time with us he has done an amazing job in raising the profile of Tribal DDB. We wish him the very best,” Rona said.
