APAC- PHD has been awarded global media planning and buying duties for Diageo-owned brand Johnnie Walker Blue(尊尼获加蓝牌) after a competitive pitch.

Led out of Singapore, the PHD’s APAC team will run be offline and online media planning for JW Blue’s markets globally. The account was formerly run out of the UK.

The appointment is PHD’s first major new business win since the appointment of Susana Tsu as regional CEO six months ago.

Tsui said: “We are tremendously excited to take on this assignment. Diageo is a brand that inspires and PHD is delighted to be working with the Reserve team on a global stage to further strengthen the reputation of JW Blue in the luxury category and make closer connections with its customers.”

Cheuk Chiang, APAC CEO Omnicom Media Group, added: “It is an absolute honour to be awarded this account. The win is a testament to the category experience and passion of Susana and the PHD team. Diageo is looking for great innovation and I’m confident that this new partnership will deliver ground breaking work.”
