JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Copywriter to join our rapidly growing Creative team. The Copywriter works closely with the creative and/or copywriting lead and members of the project team at all levels to generate and execute concepts for interactive media. This includes web/ mobile sites, online advertising campaigns, eCommerce communications, e-mail marketing, viral and other online marketing initiatives. The copywriter is expected to actively contribute to the development of original solutions and create polished, final deliverables whether working solo or under the guidance of a more senior creative.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CONCEPTING
• In partnership with creative lead/ senior art director, contributes to the creation of breakthrough, on-strategy concepts through leadership of and active participation in brainstorms and other idea-generating sessions.
• Helps establish look and feel of concepts.
• Has an advanced knowledge of client’s business objectives, brand, consumer and competitive landscape to inform design concepts and execution.
• Understands role of creative brief, how work should flow from it, and how to develop ideas against it.
• Presents creative concepts and designs and communicates rationale to team.

COPY DEVELOPMENT
• Collaborating with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction.
• Working with senior creative or project leads to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style.
• Interacting with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics. Working from Creative Briefs and under the direction of senior creative’s working to translate concepts into effective copy concepts or text, demonstrating the high quality standards across all deliverables.
• Deliver full length copy according to the final creative & UX design, manage subsequent changes and do final copy checking before it goes live

PROJECT EXECUTION
• Frequently touches base with the creative and delivery leads to ensure deliverables are on time and map to the creative brief. Proactively suggests solutions to issues that may impact quality or timing of deliverables.
• Actively participates in team meetings to discuss assignment parameters.
• Independently manages and prioritizes work effectively, and proactively escalates work load conflicts.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Love arts, imaginative, well organized, good-natured, dedicated, flexible and passionate.

• 3+ years design experience, preferably in an interactive agency. With creative portfolio to show experience in conceptual thinking and ability to adapt copy style according to brand tone.
• Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to actively contribute to strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands.
• Understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements
• Advanced understanding of the digital landscape, including everything from ecommerce websites, immersive and personalized online experiences to online campaigns, social media and mobile.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly articulate your creative process, thoughts, ideas and a point of view about your work.

Senior Art Director

Division/Discipline: Creative, Brand Building, Beijing
Reports to Title: Creative Director

JOB SUMMARY
You are a talented Art Director who is responsible for concept development and the translation and extension of concepts into effective visual designs for interactive marketing, online campaigns, web, social, mobile platform and may be even eCommerce projects. Under the direction of a Creative Lead (CD, ACD, Sr Art Director), you will work on several projects at a time and will be involved in all phases of creative development. You may also be responsible for planning and executing portions of projects independently or in conjunction with junior creative staff or freelancers. You may also be involved in new business projects. You work independently, with moderate oversight from your manager.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

CONCEPTING
• In partnership with copy lead, contributes to the creation of breakthrough, on-strategy concepts through leadership of and active participation in brainstorms and other idea-generating sessions.
• Helps establish look and feel of concepts.

DESIGN
• Leverages an advanced understanding of technology, user interface design and visual design in generating/leading a project’s creative team to generate an effective range of designs/layouts for all elements of the creative solution that address program objectives, and are visually appealing.
• Stays current on and strategically applies the latest industry and design trends and state-of-the-art techniques. Has strong understanding of many digital best practices.
• Designs and begins to direct others to design mood boards, comps (with and without wireframes), concept sketches, presentation decks and storyboards. May also contribute content to decks.
• Assists in asset creation and developing a production plan.
• Able to direct still photo and video shoots. Recommends suitable illustrations, photography, video and/or sound.
• Prepares and presents layouts/samples to supervisor for direction and approval. Incorporates revisions per client and/or team feedback as appropriate. Ensures their layouts and the team’s conform to creative brief and style guides.
• Manages the creation and maintenance of style guides/online design libraries to accompany final deliverables.

• Considers technology requirements and designs a solution that complements the technical strategy and/or partners with the technology staff to overcome implementation obstacles.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Excellent eye for design, imaginative, well organized, good-natured, dedicated, flexible and passionate, you bring a sophisticated understanding of visual and experience design, typography, composition and color theory. You also bring an understanding of how to partner with content strategy, copywriting, technology and media. Besides a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multi-Media Design (or a related field), you have the following:

• Exceptional digital design portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking and an ability to define look and feel for integrated experiences
• 5+ years design experience, preferably in an interactive agency
• Expert command of standard design and layout applications (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign). Competency with at least one of, as well as experience or exposure to the following: Flash ActionScripting, video editing (e.g. FinalCut Pro), or motion graphics (e.g. After Effects).
• Advanced understanding of the digital landscape, including everything from ecommerce websites, immersive and personalized online experiences to online campaigns, social media and mobile.
• Creative problem solving skills that enable you to help establish a look and feel for a given project, evaluate a creative approach, brainstorm, think and respond quickly while delivering unexpected, original and innovative ideas;
• Advanced knowledge of and the ability to help manage the production process (e.g. optimizing graphics, compression settings and file size and image optimization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly articulate your creative process, thoughts, ideas and a point of view about your work.

Account Director

Division/Discipline: Client Engagement, Brand Building
Reports to Title: Managing Director

JOB SUMMARY
Razorfish is currently looking for a digitally savvy Account Director to handle the day-to-day management of selected existing accounts and help in new business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing planning & execution, social media strategy & execution and digital production. This candidate will need to be hand’s on in developing proposals with planning team to deliver Client’s RFP.
The Account Director will work closely with clients to identify their specific needs and business objectives, and then help identify and implement products and services that help achieve the client’s goals. He/She is responsible in setting up a team of manager and executive and providing on-the-job training to the team.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client & Industry Relationships
• Owns client relationships (mid-size clients) and runs day-to-day operations of the accounts
• Shares responsibility for 100% client retention by working with the leadership team to maintaining mid to senior level relationships allowing us to: proactively identify client risks or opportunities and managing client teams to effectively respond to these client needs
• Works across multiple verticals while establishing a network of contacts
• Develop long-term relationships with strategic clients
• Build strong rapport, new and existing clients
• Ability to qualify leads and close new business

Business Deliveries
• Responsible in gathering accurate business requirements and budget from client and subsequently able to translate those requirements into a precise creative brief (with / without planner’s involvement) to direct and motivate creative team to produce good work
• Acts as a lead and final quality controller on the final proposal deliveries. Be responsible to sell the strategy and idea to clients.
• Have good creative judgement and be able to provide constructive feedback to planners and creative team with the intention to improve work quality
• Create ‘good work’ culture among the direct reporting team and influence others from other disciplines

Engagement P&L Ownership
• Achieve given business revenue target and be responsible in communicating progress of revenue to budget forecast to the team throughout the year
• Assists in generating invoices on schedule and collect fees using guidelines set by the Razorfish finance department
• Consistently cultivates a portfolio of new business efforts

Team Management
• Identify needs for core account team members on assigned accounts
• Actively leads or participates in regular update meetings, ongoing communication, etc.
• Actively participate within highly skilled client delivery teams to enhance and deepen client relationships
• Coordinate and advise PM and manage resource management on matters concerning the project
• Assists with new employee on-boarding and training.

• Degree holders, preferably in marketing, management and communications
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in managing a team
• Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with particular emphasis on interactive media, direct marketing, strategy, and social media
• Must be able to present in English
