Business Director 业务总监

Reporting to: Managing Partner of Grey Hong Kong / Managing Director of Grey Shanghai
Key Client to Serve: Volvo
Responsible Region: Shanghai AS team for Volvo client (totally about 10 subordinates)

Responsibilities:
• Providing strategic directions in the development of total communication services;
• Managing and optimizing resources to achieve revenue goals for the business;
• Developing business partner relationships with key people in the designated client organization;
• Lead team with direction planning and creative gate keeping on major campaigns;
• Partner closely with creative and delivery management teams to ensure that client projects are developed, produced and implemented for the success of the client and the agency.
• Insure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns and projects to assure earnings, growth and profit goals are achieved.
• Plans, develops and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements and training requirements necessary to provide both quality and profitable service.
• Assures that client relationships remain harmonious and that the clients receive a quality of service that will encourage further growth and profitability.
• Integrates into client team environment, is accessible for the strategic needs of the client and partners with them on their overall advertising/marketing concerns.
• Maintains open and complete communications of client issues with functional leaders and agency management.

Knowledge requirements:
• Above 10 years of advertising in 4A agency with automotive working experience;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Be able to convince and influence others effectively;
• High energy level. Be able to manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously;
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.

• Academic Qualification: University/ College graduate
• Years of experience: 4+ years working experience in account servicing
• Special Requirement:

– Solid agency experience (at least 3 years) in FMCG client
– Capability in English conversation and writing
– Responsibility and good in communication will be plus

Overall, you will be the lead support on driving the Client’s innovation pipeline. This includes identifying market opportunities, setting innovation strategy, shaping brand architecture, brand positioning and product portfolio, unearthing insights, communicating functional and emotional benefits in compelling product concepts for consumer validation and planning advertising campaigns as well.
As innovation is a highly strategic and multidisciplinary endeavor, which involves working not only with Marketing but also support functions like R&D, Regulatory etc. your ability to foresee and manage frequent hitches and debates is critical.

Requirement:
In order to fulfill this responsibility well, you’re required to have at least 8 years of work experience in Advertising / Marketing / Brand Consulting / Market Research – Ideally a mix of 2 or more industries.
Experience in data based consultancy and upstream planning is a must with extensive experience on FMCG brands (Auto and Health Care Brands would be a plus!).
