Role: Designer

Reporting To: Design Director

Role:
A Designer contributes to the organizational goals by driving ideas and innovative thinking, bringing energy to the team and identifying problems and offering solutions. A Designer is able to develop quality solutions by thinking broader, beyond just ideas to understanding the bigger picture and the various components that contribute to it. Being responsible and taking ownership of projects and delivering a quality product to the client and their senior colleagues.

Concept Generation / Big Idea
■ Work within a team, developing the initial ‘big idea’
■ Create concepts for new assignments
■ Help tease out the qualities and essence of the brand

Design & Development
■ Develop quality solutions by understanding the bigger picture and the variouscomponents that contribute to it
■ Support creative development by gathering information and data through research
■ Work with the team to develop the concept that suits clients’ needs
■ Create quality design

Client / Internal Relationships
■ Meet clients with relevant colleagues to discuss business objectives and creativesolutions
■ Liaise with design and production teams to ensure continuity of quality delivery
■ Team member and point of contact for any relevant design issues

Implementation
■ Compile material into client presentations
■ Develop, test and implement ideas across a range of applications
■ Ensure that work in progress is to the highest standards
■ Accurate archiving of all data and back up of all files
■ Meet agreed deadlines and where necessary advising of late delivery
■ Assist in the preparation of the case study to a high creative standard
■ Assist in the budgeting and assessing of the most appropriate partners/suppliers

Skills
■ At least 1-4 years’ experience in corporate branding and identity
■ Fluent in the use of relevant design software
■ Are able to demonstrate a full understanding of their skill, from concept to implementation
■ Awareness of emerging trends in design
■ Relevant technical expertise (2D, 3D, etc)
■ Sound technical knowledge across production, print and digital media
■ Confident and articulate
■ Creative flair
■ Good knowledge of material and production processes that are key to delivering quality solutions.

A Senior Designer is able to develop quality solutions by thinking broader, beyond just ideas to understanding the bigger picture and the various components that contribute to it. Being responsible and taking ownership of projects and delivering a quality product to the client and their senior colleagues.
Concept Generation / Big Idea
■ Drive ideas and innovative thinking at a senior level
■ Create multiple concepts for new assignments
■ Think laterally and in the abstract to help tease out the qualities and the essence of thebrand

Design & Development
■ Carry out the creative brief to deliver quality design
■ Take ownership, responsibility and accountability of projects
■ Interpret clients’ business and marketing needs, developing a concept to suit their purpose

Role: Account Executive

Reporting To: Account Director

Role:
■ To provide full support to the team to ensure clients receive best practice service.
■ Be second point of contact during project, ensuring teams are fully informed of project at all times. Support the team in pro-actively and continuously managing communications, timings and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:
■ Take client phone calls in absence of team; advise team of calls
■ Checking emails in the absence of the team and responding

Project Management:
Manage the Administration:
■ Work with team to create work plans, budgets and timings
■ Ensure all documentation is copied, and circulated to team
■ Open ongoing job/stage numbers and advise the team
■ Ensure files are up-to-date
■ Organise courier deliveries, and ensure correct contents go to client
■ Ensure all ongoing client requests are billed to client
■ Produce monthly billing summary
■ Work with manager to create budgets and timings
■ Ensure files are up to date

■ Work with Client Team to translate and/or write Creative Briefs to ensure the successful delivery of an assignment

Manage the team:
■ Ensure design/digital studio are working to correct job and stage number
■ Assist manager arrange transfer of work between team and Creative Studio
■ Help to ensure attendance of full teams at all meetings; prepare the room and bring all necessary paperwork to the meeting
■ Assist manager brief design/digital studio of any ad hoc client requests i.e. bmps, pdfs, cds ISDNs etc of work

Manage the Brief:
■ Attend internal reviews of work – take notes etc
■ Assist manager chase clients for technical information, products, requirements etc
■ Assist manager take notes in any meetings attended to ensure contact report is written and distributed to team with 24hrs of meeting

Manage the Finances:
■ Assist manager raise ongoing estimates for any additional fees/costs in agreement with AD
■ Be aware of any discounted/favoured rates that a project may be working to
■ Ensure all on going client requests for files, pdfs CD-Roms are billed to client
■ Assist manager monitor fee and cost spend against estimates on weekly basis; chase finance department for copies of invoices, couriers etc
■ Assist manager advise billing status to accounts departments at weekly billing meetings
■ Support debt collection efforts

Production:
■ Assist manager manage the production process on a day to day basis
■ Collate all required client information – print specs, copy, print contract details etc
■ Create artwork schedules and timing charts
■ Liaise changes and information between production/design studio and client team
■ Book third party origination artists; raise purchase orders etc
■ Ensure delivery of artwork to correct destinations with final signatures
■ File all artwork

Main Requirements:
■ Bachelor Degree or above
■ 1-2 years agency experiences or equivalent
■ Excellent communication skills with proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese
■ Possesses maturity and judgment skills necessary for client contact
■ Ability to manage client budgets and deadlines
■ Good research, writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to interact with clients professionally.
■ Good anti-pressure ability
■ Basic skills with a strong willingness to learn good presentation skills and techniques
■ Ability to support and actively participate in presentations
