Planning Department

Associate/Planning Director

The Planning Director for Shanghai is responsible for setting the planning direction for the company and its clients. Working across Wunderman’s core pillars of brand experience, consumer engagement and data and analytics, this Strategic Planning Director works across disciplines and channels, utilizing a varied range of tools to derive key insights that leads to relevant and timely brand communications throughout the entire customer journey.  The Strategic Planning Director is passionate about new media and proselytizes their importance in brand communications strategy to all stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and mentor an integrated planning team and grow its integrated strategic offerings across traditional and new media channels
• Establish strategic planning culture amongst all agency departments by ensuring that briefs provide our creative teams adequate and relevant insight to deliver effective results for our clients’ brands.
• Build an agency insight discipline relying on a variety of internal and external data resources
• Interpret outside research findings, Wunderman data insights and measurement tools, working closely with data and analytics teams, recommending changes based upon evidence
• Develop new business opportunities for the network, both in a leading and supporting role as leader of the planning team.
• Provide input as needed during creative development to ensure that the strategic direction is correctly translated into creative work.
• Lead development of strategy planning tools and methodologies based upon Wunderman core competencies

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor degree.
• 7 years of planning experience in 4A agency, ideally both within traditional and digital agency environments
• Strong interpretive and strategic thinking skills, with experience in the creation of integrated marketing efforts
• A new media junkie, boldly curious about new channels, not only can talk it but lives the new media life.  Passionate about technology is a must

Account Service Department

Business Director

Location: Shanghai
Report to: Client Service Director

RESPONSIBLITY
• Drive global Huawei business for the agency through external and internal networking, promoting and coordinating accounts amongst the various offices.
• Lead account teams in network offices, ensuring that work is done on time, of global standard quality, and within client expectations.  
• Coordinate with agency leads in network offices ensuring proper delivery of work.
• Liaise and partner with other WPP agencies serving key business to improve communication and build additional business opportunities.
• Drive new business opportunities by leading key pitches, coordinating with global and local entities to ensure deadlines are met and pitches are successful.
• Provide external intelligence to key stakeholders, including changes in leadership, and inform team of new, potential, long term opportunities.
• Manage financial process and efficiency for the agency group, ensuring prompt payment within agency financial guidelines

Senior/Account Director——Digital

The Account Director is the principle contact between the Agency and the Client and has ultimate responsibility for the client account.  The Account Director works across multiple lines of an account developing and executing synergistic solutions, which help our Clients to grow their business and gain market share.  The incumbent leads the account team from strategy development to solution delivery.  The Account Director ensures that solutions provided are on strategy and meet the Agency’s standards and client expectations.  The incumbent also supervises overall performance management for account team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients.
• Supervise strategic development and implementation of direct initiatives.
• Fiscal responsibility for overall account profitability including client budget, expense reporting, and campaign profits and losses.
• Liaison between Agency and Client to establish goals and budget and ensure the receipt of quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct performance management and goal assessment of staff.

• Keep his/her immediate line manager informed of all activity that is relevant to their business

Associate/Creative Director -Copy Base

Role and Responsibilities:
• Think conceptually and solve business problems presented by the client
• Understand the marketing objectives and demonstrate an ability to deliver the “message”. Understanding of brand, product, digital media, and how people interact with each of them
• Responsible for overseeing, inspiring and leading creative’s across a portfolio of brands.
• Needn’t have spent whole career in digital, although digital experience is an obvious plus.
• Assist in the recruitment and development of the creative team
• Oversees the copy process by meeting regularly with copywriters and Account Management to assess project development, review work product and determine whether project is on target and within the scope of the Creative Brief.
• Act as a client liaison by presenting various stages of work product to the client
• Acts as a mentor to departmental employees
• Provides supervision and oversight to freelance staff
• Must be able to work well under pressure and time constraints, must possess a strong detail-orientation and solid organizational skills, and must possess a strong team-orientation.

Senior/Art Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Creation and production of artwork for multiple Client accounts.
• Direct multiple design initiatives and teams.
• Lead and manage creative teams
• Insure brand and design consistency across client initiatives.
• Present concept/design treatments, storyboards and completed work to internal and external clients
• Additional concept/design projects as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Senior/Designer-Digital

• Great insight on current social media trend and foreseeable digital trend
• Proficient at online advertising such as types of banners and inside out of the user flow of any social media platforms
• Good at user experience (UX) interface design, provided with basic knowledge of interactive content design
• Photoshop/Illustrator softwares are compulsory
• Basic knowledge of front-end programming such as HTML, Flash Actionscript, Javascript and CSS


Technical Department

Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITES:
• The development position is to study, plan and co-ordinate the projects and to study the technical solutions in advance of each phase.
• Software development, which may include project management, design, coding, testing and documentation, in accordance with rules and procedures defined by Headquarter.
• This position is also providing query & report upon request.
• To ensure the good course of the projects, the position must liaise with the system admin and Integration in order to respect the planning and give them the competence transfer and training.
• It must also give the company its expertise on collateral projects in the IT domain. Training is also given upon request.
• Reporting on the progression of the project(s) and the quality level of the service directly with his superior and his client.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Knowledge of formal object-oriented design methodology.
• Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
