The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) is seeking a Campaign Manager, China.

• 2 Year Contract (with potential for extension)
• City of Shanghai based
• Salary commensurate with experience

Reporting to Regional Manager China, the position is responsible for developing targeted, effective and measurable activities for seamless and integrated marketing campaigns that will increase awareness of and leisure visitation to South Australia from China on Chinese digital and media buy platforms.

Responsibilities will include:
• Identifying key consumer behavior trends, providing input into the digital promotion and media buy strategy of SATC and Chinese website
• Identifying and implementing consumer marketing activities effectively with online platforms, airlines, Tourism Australia and other partners in accordance with an annual business plan
-Negotiating and maximize SATC’s exposure through the campaigns with partners
-Ensure SATC’s ROI on campaigns and media buy
-Assisting and executing celebrity's photo and video shoot in South Australia. Negotiate with partners to maximize SATC’s exposure through the project
– Develop content and story in Chinese for various marketing promotion
-Working closely with team on delivery PR stories and Social Media Post
-Ensure all creative strictly following the SATC Brand Guideline or in line with the guideline of cooperation partners’
-Ensure campaigns could be delivered according to agreed timeline and within approved budget scheme  

Key Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Consumer Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media Buy, or business relevant discipline
• A minimum of three years’ experience in digital campaign or media buy fields
• Ability to develop inspiring content/ copywriting skills in Chinese
• Sound knowledge of the Chinese digital environment
• Experience in developing and implementing consumer marketing campaigns
• Experience and ability to monitor and manage the performance of an agency
• Good presentation and public speaking skills
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• English language skills including verbal and written

Desirable Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Digital or Tourism or Advertisement
• Experience in tourism destination marketing
• Negotiation skills
• Demonstrated use of initiative and flexibility in challenging situations.
• Overseas travel experience
