Minimum Qualifications:
– 1-2 years of experience in public relations or equivalent

– Well connected to sports, lifestyle, mass media and youth media

Senior Account Manager – Corporate Team 

Location: Shanghai

Reporting Line:  Account Director 

Overview of Job Function:

A Senior Account Manager is expected to: provide senior-level account planning and supervision for several accounts and/or provide specialized expertise in one or more service areas; help set and achieve corporate goals through participation in decision-making and problem-solving processes; serve as the strategic liaison among client, account team and agency management.

Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as senior contact for clients and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of clients’ business and industry. Develop strategy for implementing successful client programs. 
-Provide counsel to clients on general strategic issues and anticipate how industry issues may affect clients. 
-Troubleshoot clients’ problems as they arise; seek senior management input whenever appropriate. 
-Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; encourage teams to take advantage of training and development opportunities.
-Help account team(s) work effectively and in the best interests of client(s); maximize agency’s network of resources to enhance client services. 
-Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials including client media materials, byline articles, client correspondence and reports. 
-Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others. 
-Take a leadership role in new business proposal development and presentations; work with account teams to build incremental business. 
-Manage account financials including budget allocation and control, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase orders; ensure team billability and account profitability. 
-Participate in external company promotion through articles, speeches, presentations, professional memberships, etc. 
-Begin to build a leadership role in outside organizations to increase Ketchum’s visibility in marketplace and create new business opportunities. 

-6-8 years of experience in Corporate, including agency background 
-Experience in leading an account servicing team & supervising junior account staff 
-Experience in providing strategic counsel and advice to senior management 
-Experience as liaison for a group of accounts 
-Experience in issues and crisis management 
-Strong financial management skills. Experienced in developing and managing budgets as well as implementing strict financial procedures. 
-Strong project management skills and event management experience 
-Ability to generate ideas and think creatively 
-Ability to work under pressure 
-Strong presentation skills 
-Excellent interpersonal skills 
-Strong writing skills in both Chinese and English, journalistic experience preferred, good command of spoken Chinese and English 

Senior Account Executive / Account Associate

Location: Shanghai

Reporting Line:  Account Manager

-Work in the Brand Team, Shanghai Office. Clienteles spams across F&B, traveling and others industries.
-Maintain regular contact with clients; look for new ideas and ways to meet client needs.
-Develop clear understanding and knowledge of the clients' business, industries and their competitive environments.
-Actively participate/contribute to the development of account plans/ideas.
-Participate in program presentations to clients.
-Draft full range written materials including press releases, articles, speeches, presentations, project/event reports, meeting minutes, client correspondence etc.
-Verify information to assure accuracy of media materials and contacts.
-Coordinate events such as press conference, media briefings, media tours, product launches, store openings etc.
-Develop and maintain media contacts and leverage them for clients’ needs.
-Implement specific account plans under the strategic direction of immediate supervisors and senior management.
-Support supervisors and senior management as and when necessary.
-Coordinate with vendors.
-Draft project budgets or estimates, invoices etc.
-Assist in research projects and gathering information for new business proposals, research papers etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
-3+ year experience in agency/in-house, lifestyle/luxury/FMCG client service background is a must.
-Fluent in English is a plus.
-Passionate about the role about public relations.
-Clear track record of delivering strategic and creative communications programs.
