We see ourselves as the “McKinsey of Marketing.” Whereas a CEO has access to independent best practices from McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, and a CFO has access to KPMG or E&Y, a CMO has no such independent partner. We aim to fill that gap. 

Right now, a third of our revenue comes from global clients such as Samsung, Colgate, VISA, Unilever, Mondelez, Akzo-Nobel, and Pfizer. A third of our revenue comes from regional clients such as Mead Johnson, Fonterra, Mastercard and others. And a third of our revenue comes from local clients such as Lowe’s US, Verizon, SingTel, BMW China, Mercedes China, and others.

Within three years, our goal is to have more than half of our revenue from global relationships (currently one third is) and more than two thirds of our revenue on a retainer basis (right now half is.) No other consultancy in our sector has more than 30% of its revenue on a retainer basis.

R3 is now 100 people strong in 11 offices including Singapore, New York, Beijing, Los Angeles, and London. R3 China started in 2007 with a headcount of 1. It now employs 25 people in Beijing and 25 people in Shanghai.

Senior Analyst

The Senior Analyst provides digital oriented  analytical insight to consulting team.  The focus of this position is to work closely with the project owner to gain in-depth understanding of client digital performance, working process, agency service and the context in which the digital media investment operates. 
This role presents a new opportunity to learn and tackle new challenges in China dynamic digital environment and will give you exposure to new clients, business problems and people
The role reports to R3’s China Lead Consultant in media consultancy discipline. 
Play the Key Role in Consulting Work 
The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of China digital industry, such as hero apps, OTT, OTV, paid social, search engines such as Baidu, 360 and Sogou keywords search and preferable eCommerce paid media. Ideally in the agency background with a strong process knowledge in digital media. 
Required skills and competencies:
• Bachelor's Degree required; marketing and statistics related preferred. English communication skill is a must, CET-4 and above
• 3-5 years’ experience managing paid digital media in an agency environment
• Baidu Certifications is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience managing SEM campaigns in Baidu at least and hands-on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
• Analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from data gathered
• Proficiency in MS Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
• A self-motivated individual; a good team player
• Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
