Ecco remains UM for global media

  GLOBAL - Danish footwear company Ecco(爱步) recently has re-appointed Mediabrands' UM(优盟) as its global media agency partner, following a pitch which also included MediaCom.

The company was founded in 1963 in Bredebro, Denmark and is owned by the Toosbuy family. And, its media account estimated at US$46 million globally.

UM will serve the client across Europe, US, Asia-Pacific (includes China).
  SHANGHAI- It is said that Alan Yau(丘雅伦), current Managing Director of Zenith Media Shanghai office after two years on the role, will resign at end of September.

Derek Kwok (郭志明), head of Zenith Media China will also immediately look after Shanghai General Motors and other accounts of Zenith Media Shanghai.

Yau had helped build Zenith Media in China over ten years starting in 1997, rising to the post of MD of Zenith's Shanghai office. During that, he also had stints at In-Game Media as VP and replaced Stewart Li at September 2008.
广州- 近日,实力传播广州办公室赢得了印尼饮料商Enesis Group旗下品牌Sensa Cools(清热酷)在中国市场的媒介整合策划和购买业务。

此次比稿从2009年3月开始,包括实力传播、传立媒体在内的多家国际4A广告公司进行了一场历时一年的拉力赛。

创始于1988年的Enesis Group是印度尼西亚一家知名的饮料品牌,Sensa Cools作为旗下最具影响力的品牌,以其中草药制剂能够补充人体能量的特性,在印度尼西亚深受大众喜欢。Enesis Group计划今年进入中国市场,开拓其在全球的业务领域。

Snow Beer called for media pitch

  BEIJING- CRB's Snow Beer(雪花啤酒) recently has called for a media pitch. The brand's media spend estimated at around rmb 200million.

Data showed that, local agency Charm Communications has handled the chunk part on CCTV national media buying. Golden Bridge, Maxus and ZenithOptimedia also involed in the pitch.

As NBSC data said, Snow beer is the market leader with sales volume of 7.24million kiloliters. Neo@Ogilvy is the digital media agency.

淘宝商城召开媒介业务比稿

  北京-淘宝商城(Taobao Mall)日前就其媒介业务召开比稿,并已于8月26 日进行了一轮提案。

包括浩腾媒体、尚扬媒介和实力传播参加了此次比稿。竞立媒体曾经是淘宝网站的媒介代理商。

淘宝商城是中国最大的在线购物网站,出售包括化妆品、服装、家用品、食品、音像制品和书籍在内的多种商品。从2008年3月淘宝商城建立开始,包括戴尔、联想、蒙牛、惠普、美的和宝洁在内的多个大型零售品牌陆续在淘宝商城设立了在线商店。

UM中国任命魏丽锦为首席运营官

  北京 - UM中国近日任命魏丽锦(Lisa Wei)为其首席运营官。魏丽锦将在北京上任,并直接向首席执行官Simon Woodward (西门卧虎)汇报。 她将主要负责管理UM的购买业务,北京办公室的日常运作以及拓展整个中国区的的业务。

魏丽锦在媒介行业有23年的经验, 其中有14年在中国大陆。 她曾服务于奥美,传立以及群邑中国, 在最近加入UM之前,服务于浩腾媒体。

UM全球首席执行官Matt Seiler表示,“我们对Lisa的加入感到非常的激动。 在中国这个重要的市场里,她丰富的行业经验能从广度和深度上拓展我们的服务能力。”

自西门卧虎上任以来,UM已对中国区管理层进行了一系列任命。苏晖航(Sophy Su)加入公司成为广州分公司的总经理,并且同时负责拓展华南地区的业务。Venkat Kotamaraju于5月加入UM,驻上海分公司,担任全国客户服务总监。郭俊鑫(Jimmy Kuo)也在4月份加入北京分公司,担任媒介策划总监。

Jerry Buhlmann, Aegis Group Global CEO

  全球 - 安吉斯集团(Aegis Group PLC)日前已经发布其上半年的财务报表:税前利润同比增长8%,至4830万英镑。这也是自五月Jerry Buhlmann升任集团首席执行官以来的第一份财报。

安吉斯集团在2010年上半年的营业收入同比上涨4.2%,至6.633亿英镑。同时,集团在上半年获得总计10亿美金的新业务。

安吉斯集团执行长Buhlmann表示, 受益于快速发展市场的良好表现、市场调研单元思纬(Synovate)的重新盈利以及强劲的新业务成长,使得整个集团获得良好的财务表现。他还补充说,安吉斯集团显然已经恢复增长的迹象。

安吉斯集团还表示将通过加强构筑在快成长市场的网络和地域性的扩展,来进一步获得国际性客户,以为加强安吉斯媒体(Aegis Media)。

今年7月,安吉斯集团对澳洲最大的广告传播集团Mitchell Communication Group发起全资收购。另外,在今年1月获得中国的昌荣传播的少数股份,并建立合资公司伟视捷中国。
  亚太 - 宏盟媒体集团(OMG)日前确认旗下浩腾媒体(OMD)亚太区首席执行官蔡志芬(Maggie Choi)将离任。

今年的11月1日,她将正式离开这家效力13年之久的公司,而离职原因依旧是老相识“追求个人理想”。

蔡志芬女士是浩腾媒体的创始成员之一,先后历任浩腾媒体大中华区首席执行官和亚太区首席执行官。

1983年,她在Universal McCann开始她的职业生涯,之后任职于JWT以及后Saatchi & Saatchi时代的Zenith Media。
  SHANGHAI- It's been confirmed that, Dominic Ng(吴远棠), currently National Managing Director of MEC(尚扬媒介) China, has transferred to sibling MediaCom Shanghai to be Managing Partner, and will major oversee AB InBev China media business.

Dominic was promoted to the national role at July 2009, following Bertilla Teo shifted to head Starcom Media Group Greater China.

And, in earlier this year, former Mindshare Shanghai Managing Director Michelle Ko returned to China market to helm the agency as President.

新华网A股上市计划获中宣部批准

  近日,中宣部有关负责人在接受南方日报记者采访时表示,新华网A股上市计划已获中宣部批准。

据悉,除新华网外,人民网正在中宣部的审批过程中,包括央视网在内的两家正在加紧制定方案,除新华网、人民网、央视网外,另有千龙网、北方网、东方网、大众网、浙江在线、华声在线、四川在线共十家官媒网站将登陆A股。

该负责人表示,国有媒体经营性资产与内容资产剥离上市乃是中国一项长期不变的政策。文化体制改革一定要分清楚公益性事业和经营性产业的区别,公益性事业和经营性产业的改革是完全不同的,涉及到完全不同的管理模式,而这个问题是原则性的。涉及到中国公益事业方面的内容资产决不允许上市。(来源:《南方日报》)
