Account Service Department

Senior/Account Director——Digital

The Account Director is the principle contact between the Agency and the Client and has ultimate responsibility for the client account.  The Account Director works across multiple lines of an account developing and executing synergistic solutions, which help our Clients to grow their business and gain market share.  The incumbent leads the account team from strategy development to solution delivery.  The Account Director ensures that solutions provided are on strategy and meet the Agency’s standards and client expectations.  The incumbent also supervises overall performance management for account team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients.
• Supervise strategic development and implementation of direct initiatives.
• Fiscal responsibility for overall account profitability including client budget, expense reporting, and campaign profits and losses.
• Liaison between Agency and Client to establish goals and budget and ensure the receipt of quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct performance management and goal assessment of staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Senior/Account Manager – Digital 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide general day to day support to Management and Account Management teams.
• Act as a liaison with internal and external departments, and develop accurate and realistic creative, print, production and other briefs as necessary
• Produce comprehensive and accurate reports and project outlines (e.g.: WIP’s, project plans, timelines etc)
• Understand the creative, print and production processes. Accurately assess all work of internal and external departments, and provide corrective guidance where necessary
• Keep his/her immediate line manager informed of all activity that is relevant to their business
• To manage his/her time effectively to ensure a timely completion of projects
• Accurately estimate and bill all work
• Track, monitor and report on a running basis the status of all jobs as defined by the client and his/her manager
• Ensure an understanding of the client’s business and marketing objectives, specifically the programmes on which he/she is working.
• To have a good working relationship with the clients personnel

Senior/Account Manager – CRM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development and presentation of program ideas and strategies to client and stakeholders
• Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the account ensuring the campaigns are on brief, on time, on budget and delivered to a high level of quality
• Take ownership of campaigns to ensure deliverables are met from start to finish 
• Briefing, debriefing and presenting creative – being able to confidently assess creative
• Evaluate creative, studio and production output – manage both client and internal expectations
• Maintain thorough up-to-date knowledge of client’s business and develop strong client relationships. 
• Proactively seek out business-building and innovative solutions for Clients 
• Ensure brand consistency across client initiatives
• Become an expert on the clients brand and products, as well as the industry, market trends and competitors
• Ensure financial management and control, including client budget, expense reporting, campaign profits/losses and monthly agency forecasting, tracking and billing.
• Support other Wunderman account teams on other client business as and when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 3 years relevant working experience in 4A agency, with CRM and interactive experience
• Solid grasp of direct marketing foundations and implementation skills. 
• Previous experience in developing and running e-community and digital dialogue programs an advantage. 
• Be data savvy - sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills
• Excellent project execution and client management skill
• Good presentation, verbal and writing skills – both Chinese and English
• Microsoft Office competent

Social Media Manager

Role and Responsibilities:
• Help plan and implement the social media strategy with servicing, planning, creative and technology teams to ensure its effectiveness.
• Drive initiatives to encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the client's corporate culture, products and services.
• Work with the social media product teams to ensure social media tools i.e. social media apps or sharing features) are kept up to date.
• Manage social media campaigns via day-to-day activities such as online content creation i.e. seeding campaign content on relevant sites, weibo updates, video content, online influencer outreach, posting on blogs etc.
• Manage presence in social networking sites such as Weibo, tudou and Youku while being exposed to campaigns using Facebook, Twitter etc.
• Become a brand and campaign advocate by engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
• Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
• Regularly feed back insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and Editorial teams, to help them evolve their strategies.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications

Personal skill requirement
• Strong project management or organisational skills.
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms i.e. weibo, blogs, bbs, video platforms and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build relationships.
• Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
• Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.


Creative Department

Group Head-Copy Base

• Works with entire creative team to develop inspiring integrated campaign ideas.  Inspires creative thinking and develops work that helps our clients better sell their products to consumers
• Ensures creative excellence and manage quality control throughout entire design process.
• 5+ years’ experience in 4A or local ad agency in copywriting, with special emphasis on BTL copy:  brochures, newsletters, direct mailers, etc.  Auto experience a plus
• Journalism experience also a plus, will consider candidates from auto publications
• Passionate about non-traditional creative, inspired to win awards and drive creative excellence.
• Native in Chinese, has a real passion for the language, English a plus but not necessary
• Knows how to get work out the door fast.  Extremely organized.  
• Strong drive for new business and a passion to pitch.  
• Good presentation skills.


Associate/Creative Director – Copy Base

Role and Responsibilities:
• Think conceptually and solve business problems presented by the client 
• Understand the marketing objectives and demonstrate an ability to deliver the “message”. Understanding of brand, product, digital media, and how people interact with each of them 
• Responsible for overseeing, inspiring and leading creative’s across a portfolio of brands. 
• Needn’t have spent whole career in digital, although digital experience is an obvious plus.
• Assist in the recruitment and development of the creative team 
• Oversees the copy process by meeting regularly with copywriters and Account Management to assess project development, review work product and determine whether project is on target and within the scope of the Creative Brief.
• Act as a client liaison by presenting various stages of work product to the client
• Acts as a mentor to departmental employees 
• Provides supervision and oversight to freelance staff
• Must be able to work well under pressure and time constraints, must possess a strong detail-orientation and solid organizational skills, and must possess a strong team-orientation.

Personal skill requirement
• Read and write Mandarin fluently, speak English fluently.
• 5 years and above experience


Senior/Designer-Digital

• Great insight on current social media trend and foreseeable digital trend
• Proficient at online advertising such as types of banners and inside out of the user flow of any social media platforms
• Good at user experience (UX) interface design, provided with basic knowledge of interactive content design
• Photoshop/Illustrator softwares are compulsory
• Basic knowledge of front-end programming such as HTML, Flash Actionscript, Javascript and CSS


AE Intern

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Assist with the basic mechanics of copy, art direction and production processes.
• Provide day-to-day account planning and client service support to account management.
• Coordinate and monitor internal workflow towards the completion and delivery of agency output.
• Create budget overviews, including estimates, invoicing and accounting support.
• Responsible for other duties and projects as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS degree required; Marketing, Business, or Communications degree preferred
• Experience and demonstrated interest and focus in advertising, marketing and account management (internship, advertising/marketing degree, etc.)
