MBEXCLUSIVE- Sources from Shanghai revealls that, two AKQA(雅酷) staffs Edward Wang(王元元) and Ben Zheng(郑商融) had also resigned from the agency, to jointly launch their own start-up oookini in Shanghai. Edward was Planning Director at AKQA Shanghai and oversee the Strategic Planning and Social Media Department. Prior to AKQA, Edward Wang was Digital Strategy & Social Director at Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai, and majorly worked on Nike and Tiffany & Co. Ben started his career at Porter Novelli Beijing from March 2010, and then had a brief stint at W+K and finally joins in AKQA in 2012. Before his departure, Ben Zheng was Social Head. The news follows the departure of David Hunt, MD of AKQA Shanghai.
