Position: Consultant, Shanghai, Strategy & Communications

As we continue to grow our operations in Asia, we are looking for a high caliber candidate to join our dynamic and professional team as a Consultant in Shanghai. 

Tasks the candidate would undertake include:
• Working as part of a nimble team to execute innovative business and communications campaigns
• Developing and executing your creative ideas to help clients position their brands
• Promoting news stories and features to the regional press on a daily basis
• Researching, drafting and distributing corporate materials (e.g. press releases) to Asian media outlets
• Preparing client reports, attending client meetings and liaising with clients regularly
• Develop media relations and conduct regular meetings/calls with reporters in the region
• Monitoring and collating targeted media coverage
• Conducting research to support clients and business’ needs
• Manage social media platforms for clients and the Company
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by the line manager

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree ideally in business, journalism, communications or equivalent. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in journalism, public relations or corporate communications is highly preferable. Fresh graduate is also welcome. 
• Familiar with social media platform management (WeChat, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) an added advantage
• Language: Native speaker in Mandarin, fluency in English is essential
• Educational background in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Finance is an advantage
• International experience (study and/or work) a plus
• Have a strong appetite for geopolitics, macroeconomic/finance events
• Deep understanding and broad resources in media 
• Candidate needs to be confident, mature and outgoing. Entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude and a team player is essential
• Must display a strong work ethic, high standards and commitment to the role
