Yili Splits Its Media Buying Into Mindshare and OMD

BEIJING- Yili has concluded its media buying review and splitted its media account into two firms- incumbents Mindshare and OMD, say sources close to the situation. As said, incumbent Mindshare handle the PSTV buying assignments, while newcomer OMD will handle Local buying assignments. Mindshare Beijing will continue to handle media planning duties, which don't include in this review. Formerly, OMD has also worked on print buying assignments and continue the status. On CCTV buying part, it's more complicated, and mojorly specified by Yili directly. IPG's media agency UM has lost all assignments in the review. Yesterday, when we sent an email to one representative of Mindshare China, she stated that "have not received any official news from Yili."
